Privacy Cheatsheet

AdaptRM Privacy Cheatsheet

We believe you are the master of your own data. Your privacy and security are important to us. Our services give you the ability to leverage and control your information in safety.

What we collect

The short answer is that everything we collect on your behalf is shared directly back to you for your own personal use. We collect information about the window that's in focus on your device. We do not record the content of your files. Your keystrokes are not logged. No snapshots are taken of your work. We do not collect any hidden personal data.

Access to your data

You have full control over access to your data. AdaptRM staff will not view your data without an explicit support request from you that requires it. We do not share your data with anyone without a subpoena. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information without your explicit consent, with or without identifying information.

Data security

Your data are encrypted at every step. All data are stored on trusted, certified servers. We use two-factor authentication for unrecognized devices to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You may opt out of this feature if you prefer.

We use cookies as little as possible. Currently, we use them to keep track of recognized devices, to secure against hackers. We also use them to recall your custom page settings for usability. If you choose to turn off cookies, we recommend you uncheck the Two-Factor Authentication option in your Account Settings.

Controlling my own data

Our goal is to help you leverage your own data to help you accomplish more. We believe you should be able to manipulate your data however you choose. To that end, you can pause tracking in your tracker(s) at any time. You can delete any of your data, from individual activities to your entire account. You can import/export your data as needed. If you delete your account, we keep your data for 30 days to allow you to change your mind. You can contact if you want to ensure immediate deletion.

Some features are still in development, so if you need help with anything, just email!
